Cancellation and Refund Policies

Please email us at ask@acumen-diagnostics.com for any refund request.

 

Full refunds will be applicable for duplicated form submissions.

If you would like to cancel your Cervical Cancer Self-Swab HPV Test Kit order within 48 hours upon placing the order, a refund of the kit and service price will be made to you, minus a $20 administrative fee. 

If you would like to cancel your Cervical Cancer Self-Swab HPV Test Kit order after 48 hours from placing the order, no refund will be made.

If you would like to cancel your Colorectal Cancer Screening Booking prior to your blood draw, a refund of the kit and service price will be made to you, minus a $20 administrative fee. 

If you would like to cancel your Colorectal Cancer Screening Booking after your blood draw, no refund will be made.

 

Any request for amendment of personal particulars due to wrong entry will be tended to during operating hours only (Mondays to Friday, 9AM-6PM). Any request for cancellation due to extenuating circumstances shall be approved at the discretion of Acumen Diagnostics. The refund amount will be credited back to you within 4 weeks. 

*There shall be no withdrawal of cancellation requests once processed.

Cervical Cancer Screening with Self-Swab Kit

Cervical Cancer HPV Self-Swab Kit is for screening purposes only and is not intended to provide a diagnosis or replace regular check-ups with a healthcare provider. The test is not a substitute for a Pap test (for women below 30 years of age), confirmatory colposcopy, or other tests recommended by a healthcare provider for cervical cancer screening.

 

The accuracy of the test may be affected by factors such as incorrect sample collection or handling, certain medications or medical conditions, or recent sexual activity. Therefore, the results should be interpreted in consultation with a healthcare provider. Please seek medical advice from a healthcare provider regardless of your results. 


This test is not a guarantee that you do not have or have cervical cancer and/or are infected with the human papillomavirus. As such, please medical advice from a healthcare provider regardless of your results and continue routine screening.


The test is intended for use by individuals who are 25 years of age or older. It may not be suitable for individuals with a history of abnormal Pap test results, with prior diagnosis of cervical cancer, or with compromised immune health.


The manufacturer and distributor of this HPV self-test kit, and clinical testing service provider(s) shall not be liable for any damages or claims arising from the use of the test, including but not limited to incorrect results, reliance on test results, or failure to seek appropriate medical care.

Colorectal Cancer Screening by Blood Test

Colorectal cancer screening test by detection of methylated SEPTIN9 in whole blood is for screening purposes only and is not intended to provide a diagnosis or replace regular check-ups with a healthcare provider. The test is not a substitute for a colonoscopy or other tests recommended by a healthcare provider for colorectal cancer screening.

 

The accuracy of the test may be affected by factors such as inadequate blood collection or handling. Therefore, the results should be interpreted in consultation with a healthcare provider. Please seek medical advice from your healthcare provider regardless of your results. 


This test is not a guarantee that you do not have or have colorectal cancer. As such, please medical advice from your healthcare provider regardless of your results and continue routine screening. 


The test is intended for use by individuals who are at average risk of colorectal cancer.
